Tech Demo: Video Thumbnails

ROBLOX admin, Tim Brown, has chose Video Thumbnails as his Hack Week project.
A video thumbnail is a 30-second Youtube clip, that ROBLOX players will be able to integrate into there game pages on ROBLOX.

Why make this?

There are two points to this update: Let creators better showcase their content using video clips, and let players preview content with a minimal time investment. This will make ROBLOXians want to play the place more.






When the update is released, to make a video thumbnail, users will have to record a video using ROBLOX's built-in recording system, and then upload it to Youtube, and provide the URL. Videos will have to moderated as forum posts and pictures are.

According to the admins; Uploading video thumbnails will cost some robux.
