ROBLOX 2011 Highlights

The ROBLOX Mods and Admins are quite happy to see the newly success to the ROBLOX Community. Throughout 2011 changes have been experienced through the players, mods, admins, and even exploiters. The ROBLOX user count has managed to not only double, triple or even quadruple, but increase the player population by 109%. Making things better; over 250 million hours of game-play were held throughout the year which made it reach a total of 9.6 billion page views.

Huge congrats to these games for making it big. The top 100 games were played with a ground breaking 192 million times! The preferred games in 2011 fell into the life-simulation, combat, and survival genres, with each game generating over 5 million cumulative game-plays.  Let's make it big in 2012!

In the clothing industry of ROBLOX, another major highlight occurred. More then 6.13 billion Robux, which is equivalent to 6 million United States dollars, was traded throughout the ROBLOX economy. That amount is a 152% increase in the amount of virtual money exchanged since 2010! One ROBLOXian was lucky enough to earn an amazing 8.9 million Robux (which is equivalent to $89,000 US dollars) in sales!

 David Baszucki, (Builderman) CEO of Roblox says "ROBLOX is about giving our players the tools and freedom to put their imaginations into action. It's amazing to see what these players can do, and all that they've accomplished in 2011. They have been building, sharing, and competing, using the skills they've picked up from ROBLOX, and their passion for learning really shows with these numbers. We've seen an increase in usage by teens, young adults and parents as we have released more complex building tools and materials."
